LiveTV has been great and is a very welcome feature for several of my family members. I find that members of my family tend to forget to stop LiveTV sessions when they are done, instead they simply turn off the TV. This ‘orphans’ the transode process in essence and adds to the load on the server when no one is actually watching the broadcast anymore.
Can you please add an option in the settings under DVR Settings menu to stop live tv playback after X minutes.
If set, the user would be presented with a prompt 60 seconds before the set time frame that will allow them to reset the live playback counter. If they do not respond the the prompt, the live tv session will be ended.
