Storing Metadata into Database

I´m not sure if my topic was handled before, but i did not find anything which was regarding to my opinion/question.

I´m looking for a possibility to store all the metadata into a SQL-Database (MSSQL/MySQL) instead of storing them as files on a drive. Maybe someone here knows or has a solution on how to store this data into a database.

At least it would be really nice to have the option to store all of these into a database.

Any suggestions or ideas?

The main Plex storage location for metadata IS a SQLite database.

You might want to provide a bit more details about what you are aiming for.

That is very possible. Run a few scripts and BAM! All the metadata is now in the database.
But this would be completely useless to plex because plex reads the db for one thing and the hard drive for another.
