Just wanted to put on here what is working for me. For now.
My biggest hesitation in the beginning was the tuners that I have. they were not listed on the compatiblity list:
But reading further, I discovered that if the turners support Windows BDA : Broadcast Driver Architecture (BDA)
Once I discovered that this was the case with my tuners I gave it try and followed the instructions and I am now looking at live TV and shows being recorded at the same time. My next project is going to be to move the system to my NAS server after I get it updated.
I am using a basic home built computer with the following config:
i5 -2500k @ 3.30 Ghz
16 GB Ram
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 950
64 bit Win10 OS
2 AVerMedia A188C PCIe Pure ATSC (Dual Tuners) $ tuners available.
