Strange occurrence the main user sees watched status of other users

I don’t know how to explain this but I’ll try

  1. I am the main admin of the server lets call me ‘User 1’
  2. I have two other people who view contents under their own user profiles, lets call them “User 2” and “User 3”
  3. What seems to happen is User 2 or User 3 watches a TV Show or Movie then the Up Next and Continue Watching section of User 1 profiles reflects what User 2 and User 3 Watches which shouldn’t happen
  4. First I thought i setup 'Trakt for Plex" wrong and thought it was syncing User 1 and User 2 under the same profiles but I have check the settings and both are syncing to separate Plex profiles and separate Trakt profiles. Another reason that this couldn’t be the case is that User 3 isn’t even setup in Trakt for Plex but he still syncs with User 1.
  5. When User 1 watches a show or movie it doesn’t seem to update on User 2 and User 3
  6. This only occured after updating to the latest plex pass server release.

If someone could help figure this out it would be greatly appreciated. I went into Plex Server and Clicked Settings > Help > Download Logs but there seems to be alot of different logs but not sure which one to upload as I don’t know which ones could contain private information, but let me know which one any of you may need to help us out.

Thanks Heaps.

Thanks mate worked a treat, It’s been that long since setting up Trakt (the first time, not this time) I honestly forgot about that step.

@OttoKerner
Unfortunately it is still occurring after doing what you said, any other ideas?

Are these other users on your local network and are they using DLNA clients?
Because in this case there is nothing you can to but disable DLNA.
DLNA has no way to authenticate users. So it is either on for all or off.

No there remote users not on the local network.

I’d verify the filtering settings in the Trakt Plugin again.

The only other thing would be to try and repair the database, but that is an unlikely cause here.
