Strange signin behavior/back button issue using Plex app on new Roku box

This is strange. I can replicate about every time. I have a master account/owner on plex, with a 4 digit PIN for signing in. I have a selection of movies that are not to be available to the household.
I have 2 users added in, one is the MIL, one is just labeled ‘House’. Both accounts are identical, no PINS required, on a Synology NAS, using on my local network only.
So, selecting the app, choosing either non-owner account, I can browse allowed libraries, etc. However, when I hit the back button, a few times to get back to the home menu, it backs the user right into the owner account, as if I were signed in! No pin requested, libraries access, everything. My master account is not checked to stay signed in. Restarts don’t fix this either.
What do I need to look at to fix this?

  • New Roku box, purchased new and activated, model 4670x. Newest Plex upgrades always done. Samsung TV, Q7-55 TV from 2018. Synology software fully updated.

I -may- have answered my own question. While logged in as the managed user, I guess I still see all the library available, to the master account, on the -PC-. On the roku, it works as advertised. Sorry for the ‘duh’ moment :slight_smile:
