Streaming Continually Buffers/Pauses when Casting

For the life of me, I can’t get Plex to successfully cast to a smart TV or a Chromecast from my android phone app or the desktop webapp. Every video (on a private server) will pause and buffer every few seconds. When playing on my phone directly there is no issue. The internet speed is fine (1 GB+) and Netflix/Paramount+ cast without issues.

I’ve read about transcoding and server settings but those aren’t available on the Android app.

Anything that I can try?

Why don’t you run the Plex app’s on the smart TV and or Chromecast?
