Play music from Win and Mac desktops to my home theatre via airplay or dlna

Dear all,
do you know how we can stream our music from Plex desktop player to a home theatre, like spotify? I did not find the way. Also with the Plex Pass purchased, I do not see this feature. Spotify has it and it is very simple to select any audio player like Home theatres, etc.
What I want is to click a button and move the audio of my music from my desktop application or web application to my home theatre.
I tried also the plexamp but it does not work.
Thank you for your support,
Massimo

Airplay can only be used if the Plex client software is running on an Apple device, like e.g. an iPhone.
No Plex client supports “casting” to a DLNA-receiver.

Your best chances are connecting a Plex-compatible device to your AV setup. Like an Apple TV device etc.

If you are using a Mac, check out - Rogue Amoeba | Airfoil: Wireless audio around your house . With airfoil and plexamp on a Mac you can send plex music to HomePods, Sonos devices, Apple TVs, stereos receivers with airplay, etc. I’ve been using airfoil for years. Works well.

Thank you for your reply. That should be the basic feature of a modern music player. I am really sorry to see this big gap in the features. Plex is very good to listen music. Surprised to hear there is not a such feature as in Spotify or other audio stream service.

Agree.

The ‘normal’ desktop Plex app in macOS should have the option to AirPlay music.
