Have not been able to upload from camera in months from iPhone X. Other phones are working okay. I have reinstalled the app and the UNRAID docker 2x. It’s also seeing a second Plex server when there is only one.
I have the same issue with mine, can’t get iPhone Xs (running iOS 12) camera upload to work. It won’t upload a single image and just hangs on “waiting to continue upload”.
I just purchased the lifetime pass with the sole purpose for camera pics and video upload to get off amazon. However i’m having same problems others are reporting. I even tried a lightning to rj45 network adapter thinking it would help since it’s faster than wifi… nope same issue.
Plex is running on a netgear RN516 NAS with the latest update. Phone is iPhone X with latest OS. Please address this issue or provide a way to get a refund.
I have solved the issue for me, nut there probably are more causes.
Reinstalling the app works for some, did not work for me.
I checked what the last photo was that got synced and then looked at the next one.
It had (iphone) an exclemation mark in the bottom right corner. On an iphone this means that it is a photo that got shrunk on the jphone to create room. The.photo is still in origional form in icloud. What plex does in such a case is get the origjonal photo from icloud and uload that version to the plex server.
Now thr photo that my iphone gave an exclemation mark was not a photo that originated on my phone, not by the camera. It was a photo that entered my iphone through whatsapp.
I think that plex tried to get the origional format from icloud but it was not there and that broke the process.
I deleted the one photo and upload resumed immediately.
