Camera upload issue

Hi guys, first time poster and love plex, I’ve been using plex for around 2 years without a problem… Until now

I have been using the camera upload feature since the start without any problems. Since the latest update on iOS, camera upload seems to stay in a constant loop when trying to upload media. You can see it is trying to upload it by reaching 100% but then it repeats itself and tries to upload the media again.

I have;
Updated the server and client
Rebooted the server and client
Created new libraries

Any help would be much appreciated.

can you tell us the specs of the server? OS, etc?
When it’s uploading, can you see the files appear on the specified folder?

Try this:

  1. Create folder where the pictures will be transferred to
  2. Create photo library selecting that folder as the source
  3. On the iOS app, select the new library
  4. Upload pics
  5. ???
  6. Profit

Hi have the Same issues.

Set up the camera upload for pics folder on my iPhone. I have about 2000 pictures on it. It looks like working fine, but.

  1. camera uploads stops in the back. Settings on iPhone are ok
  2. After uploading new pics it’s restarts the searching and this takes ages
  3. After leaving the network (after working) the camera upload turns off by itself. Mobilconection are off.
  4. After taking a picture it doesn’t upload automatically. I need to restart camera upload.

Camera upload looks pretty good but doesn’t work properly.

Any ideas?!

I have the same issues, on iOS camera upload loops back to 1% after reaching 100% on same file, on android the upload freezes with no upload at all. To test I removed all photos and am trying to backup 1 and no luck.
I am running Plex on the Nvidia Shield, have reinstalled the app and reset the camera upload settings on both phones. Restarted the main server, verified all permissions… I am at a loss, it doesn’t seem to be on my end.
