I mostly use Roku Ultra devices as my interface with PLEX. But I also have TCL Roku TV. I am having problems with this Roku ATV PLEX Player not being stable. The main problem is that for every one of the libraries I have set up, it always shows up as “No Content”. The cause is that each library defaults to “Recommended” rather than 'Library". When I select "Library” the content reappears, but as soon as I back out of that library the setting reverts to “Recommended”. My Roku TV installation will not allow me to set it once to “Library” and have it stay there. This problem occurs with every library. However, there is no such problem on my iPad, nor on my two other 4K TVs that use an external Roku Ultra device. What can I do to fix this annoyance on my Roku TV?

Do you have “Remember Last Tab” selected. I think you have to set it on each app, i.e. Plex web, Fire tv, Roku, etc.
