Have you tried using an absolute path for your certfile in settings.cfg? You should also provide operating system and python version.

plex connect is latest version.
I think i have a problem with my certificate because we i am tryiing to reach https://192.168.1.163:32400 it is saying or i need a connection or i need a certificate.
Strange because i 've followed all sams windows steps to install certificate on my atv3 ...

try going to https://192.168.1.163:443 not https://192.168.1.163:32400 32400 is the PMS you want to go to plexconnect which is on 443 and see if you get a Certificate warning. (It is normal to get a certificate warning unless you have installed the certificate on the machine you are browsing from, and if you have installed the certificate you should get the xml returned(From memory)).
If you get the warning this means plexconnect is finding your trailers.pem file correctly, so the next this I would be doing is recreating the ATV profile to make sure that the certificate was correctly installed on the ATV.
hi drewbie, i'm not receiving anything when i'm doing 192.168.163.443 . it says ssl error, ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR and that i need to have a certificate.

Did you double click the certificate and install to the local PC which has plex connect?
yes i did, to be sure i have to double click the trailers.der file and it says install certificate so i did. I have to add the certificate in a trusted database
i installed the certificate yesterday and today a few times which means when i have to add the certificate in the iphone configurator it shows up 7 times.
Also after double click and installing the certificate it still says that the certificate cannot be trusted and the install certificate button is still clickable.
do you know how to remove those certificates in windows 7 so that i have one again instead of 7 ?

I have the unblock-us DNS in the cfg in my Mac mini. If I have my mac shut down, there is no way I can use Netflix, right? Do I have to turn on my mac even if I don’t want to use plexconnect?

I suggest removing all cert for trailers and starting again
Phrancis, you will either have to have Plexconnect running on your computer or you can simply manually change the ATV DNS to the Unblockus DNS in the ATV network settings. You will, then, of course, have to change it back to the Plexconnect/PMS DNS when you want to use Plexconnect again.
That’s what I thought and what I did xD

I will delete all certificates and start over again using sams manual for windows.
