Please … pretty please. Can you PLEASE do some detect_encoding function on subtitles and convert them to UTF8? 
is it such a big thing to do some kind of filter? So annoying that I get correct subtitles loaded from opensubtitles, but they get fckd up because not being UTF8? And I really am starting to be fed up with the need to convert all .srt subs into UTF8. … What’s the problem with it?

already a month ago, but didn’t manage to get it working. Does it work also with plexpass version on freebsd (freenas jail/plugin)?
