How does Plex determine a font to use for subtitles? I use Japanese subtitles and the font that is used on my LGTV Plex player is hard to read. It is also different than the font that is on the Xbox Plex app (which is also a bad font), so it’s not like Plex just has one standard font for all it’s apps.
I would prefer to select the font or for it to use the font that I have styled the subs with. It will only do that if I select burn subtitles, which is not preferable as it then reduces my video quality.
Are there any solutions to this or am I stuck with either burning the subtitles or using whatever font Plex has selected for me?
