Subtitle offset not available for synced media

The subtitle offset option does not appear for synced media.

My Plex is running on a Synology NAS Plex Server version 1.19.4.2902
Used devices to reproduce:

  • iPhone 7 Plus running iOS 13.5.1, latest Plex app version
  • iPad Air 2 running iOS 13.5.1, latest Plex app version
    Both connected via WiFi

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Sync a movie/tv episode with your mobile device
  2. Start playback for movie/tv episode via library/home/search (not via ‘Downloads & Sync’)
  3. Load in subtitle from the Playback settings > Subtitle (also possible with subtitles located in the same folder as the media - and correctly named)
  4. Start the Plex app again, start playback again from library/home/search/deck (not via ‘Downloads & Sync’)
  5. Go to playback settings: the subtitles offset option is not available
  6. Go to ‘Downloads & Sync’ > ‘Manage’ and delete the movie/tv show
  7. Quit app (not sure if necessary)
  8. Start playback for the movie again
  9. Go to Playback settings where you’ll see the subtitle offset option where it was previously unavailable.

It also works the other way around, start playback, load subtitle, sync, and * poof * subtitle option gone after sync is complete.
