Subtitle Offset step must be increased at 200 ms.
50 ms step is too little !
At 8 seconds difference, I press 160 times on the remote control
Why do you have subtitles which are 8 seconds off? Would it not be simpler to fix the subtitles rather than add massive offsets when viewing?

I am being on topic. The subtitle offset step doesn’t need increasing. You just need to get decent subtitles.
You’re talking about something else.
the reality is that there are subtitles with large offsets out there. Other players (like the ones that start with a ‘k’) have 100ms with acceleration (and it’s adjustable too).
it takes a little effort to improve this a bit. 200 ms would indeed make more sense than the current value (50). Or add acceleration … with 50 or 100
