Plex web - 4.12.3
PMS - 1.18.5.2309
one movie I have ripped, I can’t get the subtitles to sync. Neither the embedded one from the DVD, nor dl’d ones from Sub Scene or Open Subtitles.
If I offset them either in PMS or Subler they just won’t sync.
All other films, NP.
The odd thing is, they play in sync from Finder, but 2 secs late with VLC.
Any suggestions on what I should try?
The film is - I Knew Her Well ([1965]aka Io la conoscevo bene. Italian.
The rip is a legit Criterion DVD.
So offsetting does not work or do you mean when downloading to a mobile device there are no subtitles?
What type of subs are the ones that are came from DVD?
offsetting works, but it is still out of sync.
It’s not a mobile device. It’s my home computer/server.
MOV_TEXT came with the DVD rip.
I also found an SRT from SubScene and OpenSubs. The files are the same, based on time locations.
updated to 4.22.2 & 1.18.7.2457.
different film - The Dreamers 2003.
Web plays wrong audio track (surrounds of 5.1) and show no subtitles available.
PMS correct audio, no subtitles available.
Last night it played correct audio with delayed subtitles available.
Moved up a level in the directory, plays subtitles out of sync. Still surround audio with no other choice available.
Plays fine with VLC.
Tried Plex for Mac v 1.6.3.1009-57cf57c8 .
Correct audio, subtitles w/ long delay.
