I’ve tried using my phone again to cast the movie (“The 'Burbs”) with subtitles to the TV. It still works fine with the subtitles from the phone

Unfortunately, there isn’t any error indicated when playing the file directly. I’ll need to test your subtitle file to see if we can find the issue.
When casting, it is burning in the subtitles, so it appears PMS is able to properly read this. So this doe sound like an issue with the Android player. There have been a few other reports about vobsusb not working properly.

My issue
as I remember plex server can burn in pgs or ass subtitles very well several updates backwards.
I have searched the forum for the similar issues,and I saw tons of people having similar problem as I have.
I have tested so many devices I own,only pc and apple devices work fine.
Why?what are you guys doing?
