So I enabled subtitles on an episode, and it immediately crashed playback (playing back in plex web on the actual server). Then when I try to play the video again, it says “There was a problem playing this item.” I’ve had a similar issue using the iOS app, but I can select the subtitle settings while the video tries to load and turn them off, and the video will play. No such luck on Plex web. There’s no way to turn the subtitles off while it isn’t playing, and I can’t get it to play so I can turn them off. It’s a vicious cycle and it’s really cheesing me off.
Ugh nevermind. I found where to turn them off. Really wish they worked though. tough to watch Walking Dead while my wife is sleeping.
