When you are on deck and choose a tv episode and you press play automatic the subtitles are displayed.
When you go to all tv shows , choose a tv show, choose a season , choose an episode and you are in the screen with the synopsis and press play the subtitles are displayed automatic.
But when you go to all tv shows, choose a tv show, choose a season and press play on an episode then the subtitles dont display automatic.
- from OnDeck you are replaying exactly that selected episode - same when starting from PrePlay-Screen. This will recall your previous subtitle setting and act accordingly, i.e. display the subs.
- from the episode list pressing PLAY you are actually going to play ALL episodes starting with the selected one. For that, I guess, nobody cared about the subtitles... :-D
The trouble is, that you actually would need to enter each PrePlay-Screen beforehand, selecting your subtitle wish for every episode, then start the replay. No, honestly, that's just a lame excuse... but then I have no idea how to setup the player in a more suitable way.
Same issue should actually happen when watching your episode through a playlist...
i had the same problem. i added the ":::key" in the play line.. downside is that i lose the continuous play option but i rather have the subtitles instead :)
what i did was i moved the continuous play to the pre play screen.. so when i chose an episode from the coverflow in the bottom and press play then i get continuous playing all episodes instead
this is the line for episode_list to get the subs to work there
