Hi there,
I feel like I am always selecting subtitles for the content I watch using that little drop down menu on a movie in my library that searches for them on opensubtitles. Even if I’ve already watched it. So I did a little experiment (list content by date viewed and check individual subtitles until I found where they no longer were) and it turns out after about 4 months the subtitles that I selected just disappear from Plex, displaying as ‘none’ under subtitles on the library items and I have to go through the process again.
From what I’ve read online, this isn’t intended behaviour and each library item should retain its subtitle info indefinitely. I don’t have plex pass but I don’t think thats relevant with this issue, and its something thats been bothering me for as long as the subtitle search has been a feature. Its not like it just recently started. My library retains all other custom info like modified titles and poster selections that I have made.
If theres anything I can do or more info I can provide please let me know
