Suddenly getting the "playback has stopped because the connection to the Plex Media Server has been lost" error on the exact same media file that was working yesterday

Yesterday watching: no problem
Today watching withouth changing anything: “playback has stopped because the connection to the Plex Media Server has been lost”

I didn’t change anything whatsoever, nothing and suddenly this happens…

I’ve turned on server logging and attached the logs, no clue what to make of this:
plex_network_logging.txt (1.2 MB)

I had this issue, I had to go into settings and turn off the new player. Worked fine since.

Same here. I really like the new player interface, but it seems to be the issue for me as well.

I’m getting this now as well and I cannot find (in the android app, 7.26.0.14578) where to disable the new player. Can anyone provide a pointer please? Under settings/advanced/player or settings/experience I don’t see an option that’s related to enable/disable of this player.

Want to add it’s occurring on the Shield now as well, for files that worked just fine a few weeks ago.

Found the option on the Shield and it solved the problem, the option doesn’t seem to exist on the mobile app.

Indeed, after turning of the new player (again) I didn’t experience the issue anymore. I had already turned that off because I don’t like using it, but for some reason the setting was reversed…

Sorry, I don’t know about the mobile app. I use Plex on Android TV and there it’s easy to find.
