I would love to only need to go to plex. Could there be a plug in that would let you sign into Vudu, Prime, Movies Anywhere and allow plex to link your movies. Plex does this with Tidal. Why can’t it consolidate other streaming media?

Because we have an agreement with Tidal that involves lawyers and all that good stuff. Simply taking another companies service and sticking it in Plex is not something we can do without all the lawyers and such. Those deals take a lot of doing.
I figured as much. I hoped it would be more like hdhome run recordings or be acceptable with the integration being links. Not using their service directly, it would still be my sign in. Just a thought, a bad one maybe.
Much like Tidal, could Plex get an agreement with Playon? This is exactly what I was talking about. And recording streams to go directly to Plex. Plex, Tidal and Playon. No one could compete with that.
We speak with multiple potential providers. I’m sorry we have nothing to share with whom they may be. Some deals will work out, some won’t
Some may end up being separated out and branded in the UI like Crackle or Tidal. Some content providers may simply provide us access to content to add to under our general Movies & TV. Like we recently added some content from a source that allowed us to provide more content outside of the US under Movies & TV.
