I’m not sure if this behaviour is specific to the LG webOS client, but I find it annoying that if I select something other than the default audio track (i.e., most often, an AC3 track rather than TrueHD, as my setup does not support TrueHD) the Plex client automatically turns on subtitles. I’ve not changed to a different language (both tracks are flagged as English) so have no need of subs, and if it’s a PGS subtitle track it will cause my video to transcode.
I can understand why this was implemented (I’m guessing it’s for the you change to a different language audio track) but I’d prefer if it was an option to enable or disable this behaviour.
