For the last few weeks my users and I have been experiencing a problem, where LG WebOS TVs (both older and newer) are unable to switch between audio and subtitle tracks. Track change modal comes up, I select another track, nothing happens, back out of the modal, and it’s playing the same track as before. This is only happening on LG TVs - Samsung Tizen, Android, Windows dekstop apps all work fine.

Running the official pms-docker image on Ubuntu 20.04 and also using Traefik.

We also faced a problem with the choice of an audio track, it is also selected in the menu, but the track is produced 1 as it was in the MKV container. on other devices iPad phone, samsung TV? there are no such problems, the track that is selected is produced.
After some some search, I discovered that the LG TVs don’t support DTS (no passthrough via EArc o spdif).
It’s possible to disable DTS support in the Plex app options, but then the server transcodes dts to ac3. It’s ok if the plex server runs on powerful hardware. Otherwise the file must be manually recoded.
