Support and document all the fields with includeOptionalFields for the /all endpoints

Now that the API is public can I ask again to have a way to request more fields to the /all endpoints ?

Currently to get albums or artists moods, styles, album types we need to issue a request to each item.

Being able to get the data on the /all endpoints would be a lot faster for apps who sync all the data for offline usage. (Yes it would be slower than without the data, but still a lot faster than doing 1 request per album, artists or songs for advanced data).

And absolutely not important, but maybe nice to have, a way for apps to have Plex dashboard show app icons.

Hi hi! Definitely can look into this for you. Would you mind sharing what is missing that isn’t already exposed in the /all endpoint?

The things I currently need and use via single queries are moods, styles, album type. (Album, artists, tracks)

Also need the artist country.

It seems there’s also a limit in genres returned in /all calls, like only 2 genres even if there’s more, that’s problematic.

Awesome! Thanks for the list and more info. While I can’t confirm how the team will handle this, I have created a ticket and sent it over to them for triage. After that, the decision could go a number of different ways, but regardless of the outcome I’ll make sure that myself or someone else comes back and updates this thread.

Looking for the same, i made another post asking for the same. I use plex to store my audiobooks and use the style to store my narrators, and would like to avoid make another call to get the album just to get the style info, would be great if i can get the it in the list with all albums.

No major update, but this is still being looked into by the team.
