In my opinion the article about the using of filters is a bit outdated (last modified almost 6 years ago). :wink:

It only explains the normal filters and has It has no information about how to use advanced filters (I guess they didn’t exist back then :).
Some points I’m missing here are:

  • What are Rule Groups and how do you use them?
  • How do the rules behave if you select “One of the following” or “All of the following” on top?
  • Maybe: how they behave if you use 2 or 3 levels with arguments? I think some examples could be helpful for people who struggle with the structure of these advanced filters.

They were called “Custom Filters” back then ( which shows in the screenshots in that article.)

but you are correct that could use some updates and examples on how to make rule groups and such.
