Yes! Please add this. I really want Plex to be my media solution for me and my family but lack of support for a common feature on a major phone-taking platform is making it difficult!

they never will. they are too busy seeking pointless content deals to attract customers that will never pay them. they donāt care about their customers who have already paid them.

Hate to sound like a fanboy here but backing up live photos is not an easy task. Other than google theres nothing out there that has this functionality at the moment. I do want to feature but i can also understand how plex just may not be able to deliver. Just wish they respond lol.
Nextcloud supports backup and restore apparently for iOS Live Photos. They have added HDR support. Youāll probably get two entries inside Plex if you want to host it there.
Plex have announced the ācamera uploadā feature will be discontinued.
