i dont know nothing about how plex deals with embedded images…
but you could extract them automated and safe them as folder.jpg
i found solutions quickly on google…
Audiobook support is long overdue.
+1 audiobook support
+1 audiobook support
I’ve been waiting for better audiobook support in Plex like everyone else. There appears to be a new app on the horizon called BookCamp that will offer Plex as a backend option. Looks like a promising project as it will have iOS and Android apps available.
I’ve using Chronicle for Android isn’t the best but it’s something more than Plex is currently doing. Going to check out the BookCamp now. Thanks for the heads up.
Been using Prologue for quite a while on iOS.
Audiobook Support would be really really Fine.
Wow, this has been open since January 2013, while Plexamp is able to resume where I left off in the Web UI, Plex does not recognise the chapters in my .m4b files.
A dedicated “Audiobooks” library type would be really good, a great feature of such a library type would be splitting a single m4b book into chapters and displaying them like tracks in a music album.
I’m also here to add support for this request. If this ever happens, please bear in mind not all audiobooks are listed on audible… scrapers for graphicaudio and maybe goodreads as well as audible, would be able to pull data for almost any audiobook.
probably most of us here would be happy with basic pause und resume working as it should with all players including sonos and nobody is expecting a scraper

Chronicle works good enough. No android auto support (yet) but i can live with that.
+1 Remember AA support
I’ve contacted the Chronicle team, but it seems messages fall on deaf ears. I really like Chronicle, but it feels very beta still.
It’s ironic that the Plex team themselves choose to ignore a very much requested feature.
It’s 2020! Android is not a second-citizen platform! Can we do a kickstarter for an Android version of Prologue?
+1 Audiobook support please!
After many years I’m taking my vote off and using prologue instead.
That looks nice. Wish they had an Android version.
Android has Chronicle, not sure it is as polished or robust as Prologue as far as I know, but I use it on my night player (a spare phone I have on my nightstand with a pillow speaker) nightly and it works for picking up from where you left off and a sleep timer. I also use it on my phone for my commute, doesn’t sync with my night player though which would be very handy! But does what it can until Plex finally gives in.
Chronicle hasn’t had an update in months and is pretty buggy and lacks lots of features. the dev has been silent on his subreddit. r/ChronicleApp
