I have a photo library containing my Comics and everytime i add one i have to manually set the library image to the cover page of the comics.
Please add support for an easy way to set the cover picture for folders.
eg. a folder.jpg or cover.jpg.
This would make it much easier for me to add comics, so instead of manually pointing out the cover picture for the folder i could just create a picture file with a specific name.
I found an old article online that defines such files for movie folders.
But it doesnt seem to work in a photo library
I’d support this as I’m someone who has spent hours manually adding covers to all the photo folders in my library (of which there are many!) so that it looks better than Plex’s default - which is almost always some hideously cropped mess.
cover.jpg and background.jpg would be perfect, I’d say - providing, of course, Plex is smart enough to know not to add those files to the actual photo library view.
