Support for multiple Zip Codes?

I switched from MythTV to Plex for DVR. My antenna gets channels from two major metro areas (Chicago and South Bend), but I can only input one zip code. Will there be support for multiple zip codes?

I have a subscription with Schedules Direct as well and tried to use the schedule from that (via XMLTV), but most of the shows did not have pictures or did not show the right time…

Thanks in advance!

I have this same issue. My antenna picks up stations over 120 miles away with a booster and I wish I could put in two zip codes to download guide data.

Other people have solved this by using a zip code between the two markets. You could try that to see if it helps.

There needs to be a way to have 2 EPG lists for separate tuners.

I found a zip code that gets 90% of what I need. Good enough. Thanks ChrisAWallace.

count me in for this one please…

Hi @kinoCharlino do you know if there is any update on a fix for this?

Just to recap, I have 2 seperate tuners

  1. DVB-T (Ireland freeview channels)
  2. DVB-S (UK freeview channels)

However I can only select one EPG for both tuners so I’m losing out on the majority of channels from either tuner. Should be an easy thing to allow seperate EPG for different tuners?

I’m missing out on channels after switching from MythTV as well. I’m centered in a triangle between 3 markets and there isn’t a ZIP code that gives me all of the channels that I can pickup with my rooftop antenna.

Update: I found another ZIP code which had all of the channels that I need. But this gives me an idea for a feature enhancement. Since it scans the channels first, it’d be great if you could put in a ZIP code (or multiples) and have it look at nearby ZIP codes to see if any contained all of the channels.

Any traction on this from Plex? Is there a way to modify the mapping file to manually override the channels so that we can put in the station id, etc? I am using the Channels app on my Apple TV and was able to go into the software on my Mac to update the channel listings.
