Can you please support videos that have multiple videos in them, a.k.a. “angles”. I basically take content form DVDs/Blu-Rays that have multiple angles and using MKVToolNix I combine them into one MKV file that all share the same audio (audio is not duplicated). Using a player like VLC I can switch between the different videos, but this does not seem to be possible with Plex player. It would be nice if Plex could add this feature where in the player you can switch between the different videos if multiple video streams are detected and do so while the video is playing. Thank you.
This is a rarity, but there are some instances where a movie will come with two different aspect ratios on one disc, and I will encode them both and stick them in the same MKV file. Doesn’t really make sense to make separate files, since that is more for having different quality versions to ease transcoding workload.
I have a few animation DVDs that include the storyboards as a separate angle, it’d be nice to have Plex support this.
Workout videos also have multiple angles oftentimes. We’ve moved a lot of my girlfreinds workout videos to Plex, but it doesn’t mesh well to watch the workout (ie: something like Zumba) from the back in one MKV file and then watch from the front in another MKV file. Having the multiple angles perhaps one could switch between back and front angles.
I have a Blu-ray set of Star Trek TOS that has the original episodes and versions with enhanced effects. This would be a great addition if I could switch between them on the fly.
