I waited for a while before purchasing my NAS, knowing I was going to put all my media on it and run plex.
I MUST run this on the NAS, as I shut down my desktop entirely, 415+ hosting everying and use only portable devices; chromecast, phone, tablet, macbook, etc.

Pretty surprising that this hasn't been done yet. DS415+ is among the best selling NASes.
I'll probably get into trouble for this comment, but I suspect it is not a financial imperative to do so.

Unless there is a major hardware difficulty, I'm sure they will get around to it eventually. Unfortunately, unless we actually get a time-scale for it to be included, from 'The Management', the best thing is to 'Like' the initial post in this thread. Hopefully that will get it noticed.

Thank you guys. I got my DS415+ last week and got Plex Server Installed and scanning folders currently.
