Please provide us with a table that lists all the platforms which can serve as a Plex client, maximum number of audio channels supported, pass thru options i.e Atmos, TrueHD, DTS-X and so on.
I realize that the receiver plays an important part but researching that it the easiest once we know what the plex client and streaming device supports.
For example I purchased a Roku Premier and can’t get 7.1 audio.
My PC with the same content gives me 7.1 audio using the Plex player. Using PCM.
Help us make better purchasing decisions.
