I thought this was going to be implemented awhile ago, are there still plans to make this happen? It’s much easier to swipe left/right on the album art to change the track vs hitting the buttons, especially when you’re at the gym on a machine or something like that!
I would also love to see this implemented. Used it tons on other media players on my phone before.
Same, I think they were planning on it but it must have taken a back seat to other features and fixes:
we ended up trying it but it didn’t feel great, so we put it aside for now.
Oh man, that’s a real bummer. Can I ask why it didn’t “feel great”? It’s a regular feature in most other major music players, and is usually well received.
there are a lot of things going on in that area (scrolling up/down, tapping, etc.)
the simple implementation of a swipe gesture also didn’t feel “responsive”, would be nicer to have posters to the left/right, etc.
something we might look into in the future, but there’s a button right there you can tap in the meantime
