I’m aware that the idea of swiping on the album cover to skip to the next or previous song on mobile has been discussed before. I apologize if this is repetitive, but I couldn’t find an active topic where this feature could be upvoted. I believe this would be a valuable addition to Plexamp and wanted to bring it up again for consideration.
Context: Currently, to change songs, I have to tap on the small forward/backward buttons, which can be tricky when I’m walking or doing something else with my other hand. Swiping on the album cover would feel more natural and intuitive, similar to how other music apps handle track navigation.
Implementation Idea:
- Swiping right on the album cover could skip to the next track.
- Swiping left could go back to the previous track.
- This feature could be toggled on or off in the settings for users who prefer the current method of navigation.
