When there are no episodes of a synced series, the sync for that series breaks. Sample case: I want to sync all new unwatched episodes of SeriesX, once I’ve caught up to the latest episodes they are deleted (either manually or due to a plex setting to delete after watching) from the plex server, once a new episode is available sync on iOS still shows an error that path is not found. I can setup the series to sync again and it will sync properly, but every time I get down to zero episodes the sync breaks.
Expected behaviour: sync downloads new unwatched episodes of a series once available.
Issue still persists. I have a slew of invalid path series sync’s that I have to delete now that I’ve caught up on those series and create new ones when new episodes be come available.
I’m glad to find that I am not the only one with this issue.
I just got around to rebuilding my Plex installation as I thought it was a problem specific to my set-up, but sadly soon after I enabled the option to delete watched episodes (weekly shows I will never watch again for example) I got a heap of ‘The path is invalid’ errors in my Sync list on my iPhone when there are no new episodes of the show.
