Just an idea to share…
do you know if anyone have tried to sync iTunes with Plex ? I know that is is possible to play divx files with itunes using ref files (http://www.bsdunix.ch/serendipity/index.php?/archives/378-Play-divxxvid-with-itunes.html). Maybe it would be somehow easy to develop a script that will send and sync plex metadata to iTunes.
What for ? well, first just to see if it works and then, to play movies directly to ATV withtout jailbreaking anything.
