I was wondering if it was possible to sync my Plex on my iPhone with my iTunes library that is on the same iPhone. For me this would be so logical since it would save me downloading my entire iTunes library to my PC, copying over the files to my NAS where my Plex server is, and then syncing the music in there.
If I could do the whole syncing operation on my phone and then sync that to my Plex server it would just be a whole lot simpler.
No this is not possible. Plex only knows how to sync with Plex Libraries hosted on your Plex Media Server.
That is not syncing music – that is putting music files in a Plex Media Server music library; and that’s how you would have to do it.
Indeed I appreciate that. That’s why I say it would be really cool if it were something you could do.
