I want to sync music to my devices without transcoding it. I don’t have fancy FLAC encoded files or anything; just standard MP3s. However, when I click the button and select a device to sync some music files, there’s no option for Original quality. It just presents a bunch of bitrates at which it will be transcoded before being transferred. It doesn’t matter if I’m trying to sync to a Windows 10, Android, or iOS device, the behavior is always the same. If I’m expected to select the same bitrate as the source files for a non-transcoded sync, that’s an absurd requirement. I have music encoded at many different bitrates (including VBR). Am I missing something, or is this basic feature actually missing?
