When I found out about this sync to could feature I had to try it but it seems that when I want to upload it to the cloud it has to convert it for some reason. Well when it is in the conversion tab it says converting and it does go up very slowly…about 1 percent every 10-20 min??? What doesn’t make sense is my cpu is not being used at all. I have an i7 4790k I have the transcode option on “make my cpu hurt” and it isnt haaaalp
Can you post your logs, the conversion shouldn’t be that slow.
Here is an article on how to get prepare and retrieve these logs: https://support.plex.tv/hc/en-us/articles/201643703-Reporting-issues-with-Plex-Media-Server
One other thing to look at is the Prioritize streaming transcodes setting. This option is enabled by default. If you had users watching content the Cloud Sync job would pause while the media was streaming.
Prioritize streaming transcodes
This option lets you choose how to handle background transcoding tasks. “Background transcoding” would be transcode jobs for Mobile Sync, Cloud Sync, or Media Optimizer. So, when you have someone actively streaming and the stream requires transcoding, you can choose to have the background transcoding tasks paused by choosing to prioritize the streaming transcodes.

Hello Guys thanks for the input. Here are log files from today I tried putting the sync to cloud again and did same thing so hopefully it shows what you need?.. I did see that option to prioritize streaming transcodes and I already had it unchecked thank you.
I currently have two servers my computer and my brothers, his computer has been our server for quite some time but I wanted to have another one for when he shuts off his pc and I don’t feel like going upstairs to start it anyways… I tried syncing to cloud on his server(from my computer) and it used his cpu to convert and it was way faster. so does it matter we have 2 servers? or is my pc just doing something wrongD:
this one went to 28x and said 3 min left but was still stuck at 0% meanwhile my bros pc is converting a full movie 1080p 5.1 taking about 18 min
So I just tried just playing from my server to my phone and roku, it starts transcoding for a second(it shows about 5 seconds of movie) and i see the cpu being utilized (new plex transcoder) for a couple of seconds but then it goes away…so its just this computer i uploaded a movie from my other pc and it was fine(to cloud sync) here are all logs if anyone can help me
