Synced media automatically gets downloaded to multiple devices

Hello,
I have two iPads (one for my daughter, one for myself) and when I sync anything on either one, it automatically gets downloaded to the other one which is very inconvenient and strange.

Any idea why that is and how to stop it?

Was the Plex app installed on one device and then the installation was “restored” on the second device from a backup of the first?
If so, your two installations have the same ‘client ID’.

Desinstall the Plex app from one device,
restart it
and then install the Plex app from the app store.
