I am on vacation with a poor connection (512 Kbps/s)
I am trying to synchronize a movie to watch it with a correct quality
When I launch the synchronization it works fine up to 50% and then it seem’s struck
If I wait a very long time it slowly increases…
But there is a pb.
I have a server (Ubuntu) up to date and a iOS app also up to date
Any idee ?

Well, if your downbload speed is only 512kbps then Sync will also only work at 512kbps.

But what is strange is that the 50 first % take half an hour…
And you are right that too few for a 2giga movie…
And the last 50 % is more like 6 hours…
Maybe the 50 first % is for changing the format… and the end for the downloading

Exactly that. First step is to transcode the file to the target format and bitrate.
Second step is the download from server to the device.
Ok so everything works perfectly but I am not used to poor connection
