Syncing progress on Android TV

Hello,

when I watch something on my TV with an Android TV Stick, most of the times watched content isn’t fully synced, like in the home screen. (stuff like the yellow progress bar or entire episodes when watching a TV Series).
This is pretty much a “visual” issue because if I resume playing, it just works.

To fix that I have to go back to Android TV Homepage and open Plex App again; at this point, everything is correctly synced.

Is there a way to refresh content on screen without exiting the app? (something like hitting F5 in my browser, where the same thing happens from time to time).
