NAS : DS412+ DSM 6.2.1-23824 Update 4
Hi,
I have been using Plex for a number of years, hosted on my Synology DS412+. Over the past few months I noticed a huge drop in performance, I’ve checked that the DB has been optimised, I have the latest versions of both DSM and PMS installed. I don’t have any agents installed. I use multiple devices to access the content and all experience the same issues.
A few weeks back I uninstalled Plex and deleted the Plex folder. I reinstalled and as expected it took a while to pull all the meta data, but still the same Slow Query happens. It takes ages to view the content of my Plex Server. Once I am able to navigate to a film I want to watch it works with no issues, just getting there in the first place is the problem.
PS. I have Python version 3.5.1-0108 installed on DSM + Python Module 0113. I noticed a brief improvement when I re-installed Python but that only lasted 1 day.
