I just migrated my PMS & Library files from an Nvidia Shield and External hard drive to a new Synology NAS. The move went smoothly and all the media is online but I noticed a strange bug on the Synology. When a show auto plays the next episode the audio is gone. If I go to the drop down on the Apple TV and have it convert the video file rather than direct play, it will come back. If I switch it back to ‘original’ it will play the audio as well. Additionally if I back out to the show’s season view and hit play, it functions normally. When the audio isn’t working it doesn’t list anything under audio within the ATV drop down. I updated to the October 11th PMS version hoping that would fix it. But no luck.
Update: I’ve attempted using auto-play on the Plex client for iOS and it works properly, so this appears to be an issue with Plex client for Apple TV. Is anyone else having the same issue? It would be great to see if Plex staff are aware of this bug.
