A few weeks ago I asked a question on here about streaming from my synology 214play to a potential new LG Oled tv. well I’ve bought the TV and I can confirm that so far it streams (not transcode) including 4k without any problems at all. as I used to use the synology DSvideo streaming software on this NAS that only supports content up to 1080p the use of plex with my new tv means there’s no need to upgrade!
