Plex server on Synology 1821+ (unnecessary?) transcoding 4K to 1080p to Shield 2017 to LG TV

Server Version#: 1.27.2.5929
Player Version#: latest

Hey fellow Plex supporters,
I’m posting this question to find out if i need to change anything in my setup.
I have Plex server installed on my Synology NAS 1821+ wich works great.
In general all my streaming devices support 4K and most of them (Shields 2017/2019) are hooked up wired and some via WiFi so i set the server to not transcode anything within my home network.
Everything works great accept when i stream 4K content or content with EAC3 audio format to my LG TV (wich supports only 1080P and it hooked up to a schield 2017) in the bedroom, the Synology has to transcode the video/audio.
When the video is playing than its ok to watch, it doesnt stutter but its just annoying that everytime i start a video i have to set the player on the shield to medium 1080p in order for it to not stutter.
But since there is a Shield 2017 hooked up to the television isnt there any way to let the Shield do all the work and serve the right format to the TV?
Or is it just better to replace the older LG (7 years old) for a new TV that does support 4K and the newer audio codecs?
I also have hardware in my network that could transcode faster like a PC with a Nvidia 1650 in it but that isnt alway on.
Any thought or sugestions are welcome.
Thanks and Cheers!
