Synology wanting to update PMS package

Server Version#: 1.30.1.6497

I run my PMS on Synology but in a Docker container. The Docker container updates PMS if it’s restarted. However, I got the following alerts on my Synology:

2023-01-04@18:31:31

Going to the Package Center I saw:

Now I did leave the Synology PMS (non-Docker version) installed and I assume that Synology is just alerting me that the Synology version of PMS is out of date but I assume my Docker version is up to date.

Jupiter:docker exec -it plex cat version.txt
version=beta
plex_build=linux-x86_64
plex_distro=debian
Jupiter:

Should I 1) update the Synology PMS version? 2) Remove it as I’ve been using the Docker version for many months now with no issues?

You can’t run two PMS instances on the same host.

If you’re running in Docker, Remove the native package.

Conversely, If you’re running the native package, remove the docker container.
