What you’re seeing is the correct behavior (I believe). The only branch with updated GUI is beta. I’m guessing a soon to be released update on the master will switch over to Tautulli (the new GUI). Someone please correct me if I’m wrong.

So, all I did was reinstall PlexPy and not the new Tautulli?!? Well, I’m an idiot. I thought it was out of beta. So, is ther a way to get my history back if I still have the old folder structure?
@rbeatse FWIW I did the same thing. I jumped to the conclusion that v2 (Tautulli) was officially released because this thread had been started. I’m still assuming the official launch of Tautulli will be here very soon.
Seems with the most recent 2 betas - (v2.0.20-beta (2018-02-24) and v2.0.21-beta (2018-03-04) - history logging is very hit or miss. When I finish watching a show then Tautulli puts it into PAUSED mode and never again logs the next things I play.
And when others are watching, the history reflects correctly until one of them finishes, and then all “in progress” shows stop updating in history (Started, Paused, Stopped, Duration) but the Home page Activity shows the streams and progress as OK.

I was previously running the latest beta with no issues, but I wanted to switch over to the official release. I followed the directions on the reddit thread, but now nothing works. Tautulli won’t start, and I have no idea why. Here’s what I get when I try to start tautulli.pyc:

Did you follow the switching from Beta instructions? It looks like you didn’t do the git commands properly.

@JonnyWong16 - Should ask a forum mod/ninja to close the Plexpy thread. Still got people that (apparently?) can’t read posting in it.
And, question for anyone… I’ve been running beta branch for quite sometime. (Even nightly for a while, but switched back to beta after a nightly bug that took a few hours to have corrected). If I switch to master, and have to perform the hard reset as listed in the FAQ #5, will I lose config and db? I know I have backups, but didn’t know if next step after shell commands would be ‘copy config and db back to \Tautulli folder.’

You can’t easily and you will have to work around it by finding your token manually. (Note this may only be a temporary token and not a permanent token).

Then open up the config.ini file and set
pms_token = YOUR_TOKEN_HERE
and
first_run_complete = 1
You should be able to start up Tautulli and configure everything else in the settings.
First off @JonnyWong16 this is amazing! I loved PlexPy and Tautulli is even nicer!! I love the changes and look forward to see what else is coming. I do have 1 question. Any plans on making an iOS app like you are for Android? =]. It still looks great on mobile device in Safari but having a dedicated app with push notifications would be amazing!
