Tautulli - Monitor your Plex Media Server

Apologies if this is not the right thread or if this has been asked before, but I have scoured the internet for hours trying to find the answer and have not come up with anything that has the correct info! .

I’ve been using this app for sometime with http, but want to start using https. I enabled it in the settings and am using the self-assigned cert. The issue I’m having is that when I try to connect to the service using the app on my iPhone i get an error message stating that the app cannot connect because the cert is invalid. How do I get past that error?

That’s not a Tautulli question - you need to search internet for IOS “allow self-signed certificates for IOS (or your browser version/Safari/Firefox/Chrome for IOS)”
Tip #1 and #2 of this one MIGHT help you, but, yeah, little to do with Tautulli - could happen with any web server you use self-signed certificates.

what was the resolution to this issue? I’m having the same problem after updating to V2.1.25

Went to update tonight, and now I’m getting this:

Answered in the FAQ.

That did it, thank you!

@SwiftPanda16 do you know why I’m having this issue?

I Can’t access http://192.168.1.20:32500/plexpy/api/v2 :

Fixed.

That did it. Thanks Sir.

I updated to V2.1.25 a couple of days ago and it seems that history hasn’t updated since (and i’m sure stuff has been watched)… Anyone else seeing this?

More than likely your database is corrupt. If this is the case you will find database disk image is malformed. in your logs.

https://github.com/Tautulli/Tautulli-Wiki/wiki/Frequently-Asked-Questions#general-q18

If you do not find that in your logs please provide a link to them. Instructions can be found at Asking for Support.

Thanks, but that wasn’t the case. Here’s my log’s: https://gist.github.com/iammortimer/fcb6090c00ef2877205cec8e9ba4f30e

You have some misconfiguration on your plex server. It is continually adding items in a loop. We have seen this when there have been overlapping folders in multiple libraries. There is nothing but those messages in your logs.

Once that is fixed try restarting Tautulli, watching something, and see if you see it in your history. If not please send updated logs.

I did add a complete new library last night, so the adding of new items isn’t a surprise. I’m guessing the combination of adding new items and watching at the same time is a bit too much for tautulli to handle.
I did do a restart of Tautulli now, and watching something does show up now, so it seems fixed.
Thanks for the assistance.

I looked through the install guide and see suport for Plex Server on NVidia Shield TV isn’t there (yet). Any plans?

You can monitor a server running on the SHIELD using Tautulli, but there are no plans to make an Android app to run the server part of Tautulli.

Hi, I dont know if this is the correct place to ask this question so please correct me if I am. I have installed Tautulli but no information is showing for anything. No stats at all. Any ideas why? I have noticed this, does this help at all? Particluar things are set to inactive. http://prntscr.com/lfzm4p

Many thanks

Many of your inactive should indeed be active.
Are you getting any error in the Tautulli logs as viewed from settings?
My guess is it’s not talking to your Plex server.

I fixed my issue.
Not sure if it was the update from discord or the changes i did in settings. Don’t matter.
Did some testing with Avengers movie =)
Works!

Hi guys,

Been a while since I have posted as everything has been working like a dream, unfortunately I ran into some issues last night while trying to update a graphics driver. Driver caused PC to get stuck in boot-loop so I had to force shutdown and go to safe-mode and system restore. I have everything else back up and running but Tautulli has lost all history and graph data!

I have tried installing a backup db and config file after shutting down Tautulli but no joy :frowning:

I get the following errors in the log file (attached) - any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, would hate to lose years’ worth of history.
